I work in the [Open LAB ] at XYZ University. I learned about OpenWetWare from The Longnow Foundation, and I've joined because I deem it necessary and warranted to establish a framework and voluntary code of conduct for dealing proactively with Biorisks , Biosafety , Biosecurity and Biodiversity issues in Synthetic Biology and Combinatorial Genomics .Herein included Economic, Ethical, Legal and Social Issues as to maximize benefits ( for whom ? ) and minimize potential negative risks and unintended consequences if not sheer luddism and complete rejection from civil society.
Discussing the options by inclusion and involvement of stakeholders sui generis:
Education
- Year, PhD, Institute
- Year, MS, Institute
- Year, BS, Institute
Research interests
- Comparative genomics of Aquaporins
- Comparative genomics proteomics and metabolomics of Photosynthesis /E-Photosynthesis
- Comparative genomics of gene regulatory networks
- Evolution & Development & Ecology ( Evo Devo Evo Framework as applied to biology and to technology : Biomimetics &BioTriz)
- Converging technologies ( Bits Atoms Nurons & Genes )

One of the major challenges ahead is Antibiotics resistance How can this be prevented or circumvented http://www.who.int/drugresistance/whonetsoftware/en/ Rephrasing: Can Synthetic Biology be of use in developing new antibiotics without the perils of horisontal gene transfer and resistance ? http://www.gmo-compass.org http://www.who.int/drugresistance/whonetsoftware/en/ http://www.fda.gov/Fdac/features/795_antibio.html http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs194/en/
