Mixing NaOH and Amino Acid Stock Solutions

Today, we made 200 µM Amino Acid stock solutions of Arginine, Valine, Threonine, Phenylalanine, and Glutamic Acid. These were titrated with 0.15 M NaOH to acquire a titration curve


Procedure

3 mg of NaOH was mixed into 500 mL H2O. Next, 0.5 mg of KHPht was added to 15-30 mL H2O, and titrated until the equivalence point.
