Optical Fan

If the geometry is right we can create an optical fan; rotate things just with a trap like we have. Here is the proof. File:Optical Fan.avi And it seems like the torque is focal plan dependent. As the focal plane is changed in the z direction the torque is different. And also when the focal plane is moved across the fan axis the direction of the fan is changed from CCW to CW or W/V.



Today Ant found a huge bead in the sample. Trap worked like a vacuum sucker| ;->| on this bead. (Movie will take some time to load)

The trap is so strong that even a violent movement does not break.
