Samples of AuNP Fibers were obtained by centrifuging several 5 mL samples of fiber containing solutions at 4000 RPM for 5 minutes in 15 ml Falcon tubes and then pipetting off the supernatant fluid.

Each DSC sample was setup to run through 3 temperature cycles with a ramp speed of 5 °C/min

* 1 sample of Lysozyme was ramped from 20 °C to 100 °C
* 1 sample of Lysozyme was ramped from 20 °C to 200 °C
* 1 sample of AuNP fibers was ramped from 20 °C to 100 °C
* 1 sample of AuNP fibers was ramped from 20 °C to 200 °C

Objective

  1. Run DSC on gold nano fibers
  2. Run PXRD on gold nano fibers + playdoh
  3. Run FTIR on gold nano fibers

Protocol
