Topic/Title

  • Push tools - suggestive analysis bioinformatics
  • (need help on this)

Abstract

Work in progress - jotting down ideas

  • Bioinformatics tools exist as tools to retrieve biological information from available databases and process that information directly based on the initial query. (Pull tools - TK)
  • Another approach that should be very handy would be to have the tool work for the user by analyzing the query and retrieve information directly and indirectly related to the initial user input. Therefore, the tool would be providing information that may become useful to the user.
  • Annotation on wiki.
  • Think about which biological data to focus on (DNA, Proteins, etc).

Calendar

  • Break down the 5 months I have left here into 3 timeframes for research, coding, testing. Simple gantt type chart will work fine.
