I have been working on the development of mathematical/computational methods for the solution of problems in Biology and Medicine. In 2008 I joined the University of São Paulo's Medical School at Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP) as Assistant Professor to conduct research and teaching activities on Bioinformatics at the Genetics Department.
 
Venho trabalhando na criação de método matemáticos/computacionais para a solução de problemas em Biologia e Medicina. Em 2008 integrei-me ao corpo docente da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto, na Universidade de São Paulo (FMRP-USP), como Professor Doutor (MS-3) para desenvolver atividades de pesquisa e ensino em Bioinformática no Departamento de Genética.

I work in the [[Your Lab]] at XYZ University.  I learned about [[OpenWetWare]] from I googled "RNA secundary structure" and you were there. I love the idea., and I've joined because BSc. in Physics, MSc. in Statistics and PhD. in Bioinformatics by the University of São Paulo (USP), I have been working on the creation of mathematical methods for the solution of problems in Biology and Medicine. More specifically, I have been working on transcript enumeration and microarray data, using Bayesian ideas. My idea is to contribute in these areas..
