Introduction | Introdução

I have been working on the development of mathematical/computational methods for the solution of problems in Biology and Medicine. In 2008 I joined the University of São Paulo's Medical School at Ribeirão Preto (FMRP-USP) as Assistant Professor to conduct research and teaching activities on Bioinformatics at the Genetics Department. Now I'm working on the process of recruiting good people and building my lab, both virtually and physically. The virtual lab will be hosted here at OWW soon.


Venho trabalhando na criação de método matemáticos/computacionais para a solução de problemas em Biologia e Medicina. Em 2008 integrei-me ao corpo docente da Faculdade de Medicina de Ribeirão Preto, na Universidade de São Paulo (FMRP-USP), como Professor Doutor (MS-3) para desenvolver atividades de pesquisa e ensino em Bioinformática no Departamento de Genética. Atualmente eu estou trabalhando no precesso de recrutar bons integrantes e construindo meu laboratório, tanto virtualmente quanto fisicamente. O laboratório virtual vai ser hospedado aqui no OWW logo.
