Spermatogenesis

  • Anti-sa
    • Somewhat successful. High levels of background (or expression) in muscle sheath. However, appears to be expressed in hub and cells surrounding/touching the hub.
  • Anti-bam
    • Successful. Moderate levels of background, but easily able to differentiate background from signal. Expressed in spermatocytes prior to differentiation.
  • Topro-3
    • Successful. Background is gone.
  • PCR
    • Ran 1% gel at 105v for ~100 minutes
    • All samples produced a 700bp band, but is working. Potential problem with negative control?
