Objective

Set up reactions for our five proteins with silver and gold in order to obtain nanoparticles. Make stock solutions for both the metals, fructose, and the five proteins.

Procedure

  • Metal and Fructose Stock Solutions
  1. Label three falcon tubes to make the concentrated solutions.
  • Protein Stock Solutions
  1. Labelled falcon tubes for Casein, Whey, Soy, Rice, and Pea proteins.
  2. Filled each tube with 10mLs of water.
  3. Added 5.78mg of casein into its tube.
  • Sample Prep
  1. Label eppendorf tubes 1 through 64.
  2. Follow the following tables:
