Entry titleObjectiveDescription1)Synthesizing gold nanoparticles.(Concentration of BSA=1.55 uM. Concentration of HAuCl4=0.29 mM) -Epi Test tube A with 100 ul of BSA, 800ul of water and 100ul of chloroauric acid.(with this order) was prepared. The test tube was placed in to the heat block which was at 75 degree celcius and took it out of the oven for 10 min every 30 minutes. -Epi Test tube B with 100ul of BSA, 800ul of water and 100ulof chloroauric acid.The test tube was placed in to the heat block which was at 75 degree celcius. 2)Mini prep - 5 ml of LB, a cell sample taken with a tooth pick and 5ul of ampicilin were placed in to a test tube. Datat=30mins Test Tube A: formation of bubbles and grey fibers. t=60mins Test Tube A: formation of grey fibers. t=90mins Test Tube A: clear solution, dark grey material. t=120mins Test tube A: clear solution, dark grey material.
