Entry title

Objective

Synthesizing nanoparticles

Description

PART I -Label 5 epi tube with 100ul BSA, 50 ul HAuCl 850ul water in each of them. (Concentration of BSA is 30uM and HAuCl is 4.17uM.)

-Place all the epi tubes to heating block which is at 80 degree celcius.

-At the end of two hours, the temperature started to dropped slowly.

( 2-1 ): no addition of refolding buffer

( 2-2 ): quick transfer of refolding buffer

( 2-3 ): addition of refolding buffer drop by drop

( 2-4 ): quick transfer of refolding buffer at high temperature

( 2-5 ): addition of refolding buffer drop by drop at high temperature

-The refolding buffer is 1M Tris with a ph of 6.8. It is also placed in to the heat plate.

PART II

-1ml of BSA, 0.5 mL of HAuCl and 8.5 ml of water was placed in to two test tubes.

-The test tubes were placed in to the oven which was at 78degree celcius. (Concentration of BSA is 30uM and HAuCl is 4.17uM.)
