Objective

Description

Part 1: Prepare a film for dye attachment

  • 0.5 g PVOH 2200
  • 7 ml of sodium bicarbonate

Part 2: Measure the dry mass of cross-linked gluteraldehyde film made on 14/11/2012 and cross-linked on 16/11/2012

mass:0.6707g

Data

AA results

  • Actual concentration measured by AA of each filtrates are very close to each other except the number 2(gluteraldhyde filtrate of 30 min). (we stop the measurement too early therefore actual concentration of this filtrate should be ignored)
  • AA results supports the UV-vis results from 14/11/1012.
