Observations

solutions were made with buffers at pH 4, 7, 10, 12, 14 which actually correspond to 8.53 , 7 , 4.7 , 8.3 , 5.24

  • Histidine: peachy solution at pH 8.53. absorbance peaks from aminozole (absorbs at 280 nm)
  • aggregated NPs at pH 4.7 and 5.24
  • small NPs (bright red solution) pH 7
  • larger NPs (violet solution) at pH 8.3
  • Arginine:
  • pH 8.5 clear, pH 7, 4.7 dark precipitate, pH 8.3 dark fibers, pH 5.24 blue w/ some precipitate
  • Glutamine:
  • pH 8.5 clear solution w/ black fibers, pH 7 light pink w/ some precipitate, pH 4.7 darker pink w/ more precipitate, pH 8.3 and 5.2 have most precipitate, blue / greyish hint
