Observations

solutions were made with buffers at pH 4, 7, 10, 12, 14

  • Histidine: peachy solution at pH . absorbance peaks from aminozole (absorbs at 280 nm)
  • aggregated NPs at pH 10 and 14
  • small NPs (bright red solution) pH 7
  • larger NPs (violet solution) at pH 12
  • Arginine:
  • pH 4 clear, pH 7, 10 dark precipitate, pH 12 dark fibers, pH 14 blue w/ some precipitate
  • Glutamine:
  • pH 4 clear solution w/ black fibers, pH 7 light pink w/ some precipitate, pH 10 darker pink w/ more precipitate, pH 12 and 14 have most precipitate, blue / greyish hint
