I learned about [[OpenWetWare]] from Shmulik Motola of the of BioMicro Center at MIT and I've joined because I will be a staff member of the BioMicro Center.
I recently graduated from The University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Biology.  During my time at UNH, I gained over 2.5 years of molecular biology experience in the laboratory of Dr. Stacia Sower.  My lead project with Wayne Decatur involved cloning and identifying GnRH in the black sea bass.  However, I do have in-depth knowledge of the sea lamprey, a model organism for the study of GnRH evolution in vertebrates.  As I assume my role at the BioMicro Center at MIT, I look forward to applying my skills to working with Next Generation Sequencing Technologies.  My ambition is to apply my solid research background in the medical setting.
