I have worked as a summer research student in Silver Lab in 2007.

I got my BSc degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Middle East Technical Univertsity (METU), Turkey. For my MSc degree I have worked on the cellular mechanisms of plant innate immunity, in University of Göttingen, Germany. I am now a graduate student in International Max Planck Research School for Molecular Biology and working on my dissertation in Rizzoli Lab, in European Neuroscience Institute-Göttingen. My PhD project mainly deals with the general organization of membrane proteins in cellular membranes, using super-resolution STED microscopy as the primary tool.
