I am an MIT freshman from San Jose, California planning to pursue a major in bioengineering, although I am finding myself increasingly interested in mechanical engineering and materials science. Since I have had some previous experience in stem cell research and microfluidic assays, I am very excited about applying microscale technologies to study stem cell differentiation in this lab.

Outside of the academic realm, I enjoy piecing together complex jigsaw puzzles, meeting new people, listening to music from all genres and cultures, collecting coins and postage stamps from around the world, and frequently checking the Boston weather channel since I have spent most of my life in the large sunny states of Texas and California.
