Make Low TE

  1. 500 mL of Low TE, pH 8.0:
    • 10 mL of 0.5M Tris-Cl, pH 8.0
    • 0.1 mL of 0.5M EDTA, pH 8.0
    • 489.9 mL of ddH2O
  2. pH = 7.97
  3. Autoclave
    • middle autoclave
    • #3 (121°C, 45 min)
  4. pH = 7.91

Make KCl

  1. 125mL of 3M KCl
    • 27.96g KCl
    • add NanoPure H2O to bring to 125mL

    • Molecular Sigma Biology
    • Potassium Chloride, KCl, FW=74.55g/mol
