Research Interests
My biggest passion is solving problems.
If the problem has a deeper purpose or application, I do not mind the exact subject so much as the process of creatively finding a solution. I look to explore and expand said creativity and problem solving skills in biotechnology research. What excites me about biotechnology is that I believe it to be fundamentally important in tackling some of the world's greatest challenges: food safety, energy sustainability, medical needs, and material engineering.
Nelson Mandela once said "it always seems impossible, until it's done". Challenge me.
