Preparation of Magnetic Nanoparticles

  1. Prepare 5 mL reaction of magnetic nanoparticles previously used in a 20 mL test tube
  2. Cover test tube with aluminum foil and place in oven for 20 hours at 80 degrees Celsius
  3. Prepare gold: protein mixture with the same ratios as the magnetite nanoparticles
  4. After the samples are in the oven for 2 hours, add the gold:protein mixture to the samples and place in oven for another 2 hours at 80 degrees Celsius
