Objective

  1. Add Rhodamine 6G to samples for fluorescence analysis
  2. FTIR Analysis of sonicated samples
  3. Schlenk Line preparation of one magnetite and one magnetite and gold sample
  4. Perform DSC on prepared samples

Protocol for Dye Addition

  1. 1uM of R6G was added to samples
  2. Samples were wrapped in aluminum foil
  3. Samples were left in drawer for 24 hours
  4. Fluorescence testing will be conducted next lab meeting
  5. Microscope analysis will also be conducted
