Hi John, I added <html> tags to your video and it seems to work now on Firefox.  However, I am definitely not in the way.

John, you should thank Barry for that. He beat me to it. In any case, I'm not sure we want to leave the html tag turned on as it's a supposed security risk allowing arbitrary HTML. I'm looking at alternatives so I wouldn't use it too much yet. And yes, you get an email when anyone leaves a message here automatically. --[[User:Austin|Austin]] 20:12, 1 March 2006 (EST)

I don't know what's popping up for you. I don't get anything popping up. Anyway, you'd have to ask Barry what he meant with "definitely not in the way." --[[User:Austin|Austin]] 20:25, 1 March 2006 (EST)

Hi John. The ratios are definitely crap, but even so, I have found this protocol very robust for generating PCR templates. In addition to regular PCR, I have used the DNA in quantitative PCR in a dilution series to calibrate different sets of primers and the standard curve was as tight as a dilution of cDNA. I have not used the DNA for anything else. Cheers, Michael

DNA extraction
