I reviewed the updates you made for the Week 1 assignment.  You wrote something in the summary field for 49 out of the last 50 contributions, excellent work!  You made all of the requested changes on time except for the following:
* Your links internal to the wiki are using the syntax for external links, especially on your template.
* Your Acknowledgments statement and signature and References section are still missing.
* You did not fix the link from the shared journal page to your user page.

Week 1 Redux

I reviewed the updates you made for the Week 1 assignment. You wrote something in the summary field for 49 out of the last 50 contributions, excellent work! You made all of the requested changes on time except for the following:

  • Your links internal to the wiki are using the syntax for external links, especially on your template.
  • Your Acknowledgments statement and signature and References section are still missing.
  • You did not fix the link from the shared journal page to your user page.

Week 1 Feedback

  • Thank you for submitting your Week 1 assignment on time.
  • You can delete the automated text on the bottom of this page (or keep it if you want).
  • You completed the assignment except for the following:
    • You wrote something in the summary field when changing your user page 38 out of 52 times (73%), which is pretty good, but we are aiming for 100%.
    • You created a new wiki page for your week 2 individual journal, but since you did not save any changes on that page, it is appearing as a redlink. To complete this, add some content to that page.
    • It would be appreciated if you would link to my and Dr. Fitzpatrick's own webpages instead of the LMU versions at http://myweb.lmu.edu/kdahlqui and http://myweb.lmu.edu/bfitzpatrick. At least for me, it is updated more often.
    • You added the category to your user page, but you need to add it to your template page.
    • You created, but did not invoke your template on your user page. As discussed in class today, you should make a list on your template of all the course assignment pages, your individual journal entries, the shared class entries, and a link to your User page, as well as the category, mentioned above.
    • The link from your user page to the shared journal was also missing because you did not invoke your template on your user page.
    • On the shared page, the link to your user page is a redlink because of a typo. After saving your work, be in the habit of reviewing what it looks like to see if there are any formatting mistakes that show up.
    • Your acknowledgments and references sections were missing. These are mandatory for all individual journal assignments.
  • You can make up the points you lost on this assignment by completing these requested changes by the Week 3 deadline, midnight Feb. 2.
  • I was interested to know how you see the world in patterns. See my response to your question on my user talk page.
