Order of Gel lanes

order of lanes: 1) 1kb ladder, 2) full rxn (oligos + scaffold), 3) just scaffold, 4) just oligos
  • Just a minor comment to make you more like a real scientist :-)
  • When you load samples into a gel, you order them such that the controls come first, followed by the experimental sample.
  • Also, typically you load samples in the order that they became available during the protocol, e.g. supernatant, then pellet. (this doesn't apply here since everything was done simultaneously).
