Notes on SGF73 swap

H.s. to S.c. swap of SGF73

at [[1]] fill in paper details here...

alignment SGF73 S. pombe vs S. cerevisiae

protein alignment using blastp at [2]
SGF73 protein in S. cerevisiae is 657 aa
SPCC126.04c protein in S. pombe is 344 aa

Notes from discussion with Dom:

    • middle block of alignment has non-canonical Zn finger that is conserved with human SGF73 and that he showed by mass spec can bind Zn. This block is exquisitely conserved across species.
    • first block of alignment has homology to SGF11 as well, including a more traditional Zn finger.
