The group was founded in October/2010 and our primary interest is to understand how evolution shapes genomes and biological networks. The ultimate goal is to help elucidate the molecular components (and their interactions) underlying the complexity of biological systems. To achieve this goal, we integrate a variety of high-throughput datasets using computational biology methods.
O grupo foi fundado em Outubro/2010 e nosso principal interesse é entender como a evolução modela os genomas e as redes biológicas. O objetivo primordial é ajudar a elucidar os componentes moleculares (e suas interações) responsáveis pela complexidade dos sistemas biológicos. Para atingir tal objetivo, nós integramos uma variedade de conjuntos de dados em larga escala utilizando métodos de biologia computacional.
