Long-Term Storage of Dictyo Spores

1. Take a plate of Dictyo that has turned into spores and slam it on the counter to force all spore heads to the lid of the plate.
2. Add 0.6 mL SM media to lid of plate and use pipet to mix spores with media
3. Add spore mixture to 2 mL tube with 0.6 mL 40% glycerol
4. Put in -85 C freezer for storage up to a decade
