Calculating Log Fold Change Values
- Calculated the Log values for all of the Fold Change columns
- used the equation =log(FOLD CHANGE, 2)
Reorganized data
- Reorganized data so that all of the replicates were together so that it would be easier to compute the T-test results
P-values
- Calculated P-values using the WT 12-week group as the comparison group
- ran t-tests comparing that group to all of the other groups
- used the equation in excel =ttest( selected the three WT 12 expression values , selected the three test values , 2, 3)
