Summary Taking care of cell culture maintenance today, nothing special. Goals Passage SKNSH cells from PS-2 to PS-3 Split SKNSH cells into another 6-well plate, if available Begin DH5α transformation for plasmid miniprep Protocol passaging adherent cells transformation of E. coli with plasmid DNA (quick method) Materials List materials here, to be gathered before the experiment Consumables such as media, antibiotics, DNA, kits etc. Notes Observations, measurements, placeholder info etc. go here Results/Conclusions Passaged SKNSH from PS-2 to PS-3. Some cells starting to show signs of changing morphology, clustering. DH5α plates (one plasmid, one negative control) are in the bacterial incubator in the main lab. To do: Transfect SKNSH cells in 6 well plate tomorrow, continue plasmid prep.
