August 3, 2010 I checked the plates and saw that there were only a few colonies on each plate and none were red. This should not have happened because the backbone should have RFP in it and I wouldn't expect 100% transformation. I inoculated a colony from each of the plates in 5 LB anyways and grew them overnight.
