June 8th Lab Entry LB Plates of Amplicillin were made in the morning: 1. Measure 10 g of Bacto Tryptone, 10 g of NaCl, and 5 g of Bacto Yeast Extract 2. Mixed with magnetic stirrer for 5 min 3. 17 g of Bacto Agar Added 4. Mixed with stirrer for another 5 min 5. Autoclave for 45 min liquid cycle 6. The liquid is cooled for 40 min on a stir plate 7. 1 ml Amplicillin stock solution (50(mg Amp)/ml H2O)) is added --Yong Y. Wu 11:30, 6 July 2010 (EDT)
