• RS 08:15, 14 June 2006 (EDT): You may want to check on the cost of getting the fluorescent protein individually in BioBricks format. I'm doing this for several of the vector components. Fluorescent proteins are so universally useful that this might be worth doing depending on cost. I know that you could just amplify it up via PCR, but still. Another option is to get the RBS.CDS.Term back as a separate part.
• Jasonk 08:44, 14 June 2006 (EDT):Yeah, I thought I would just PCR them out. The idea being I could use sytnthesis to get around building a ~8 part device, and then still be able to get the individually useful parts out after the fact with PCR.
