I've had some problems with these gels - they work great for the most part, but when the dye front reaches the bottom of the gel, it frequently turns yellow and stops moving (in a non-uniform way) so the markers stack up rather than running off the gel. Anyone else had this problem/know how to fix it? I don't think it is high salt or something like that, and the color change makes me think the pH of the gel is changing near the bottom for some reason.
