- To determine the size and concentration of Gold/Lysozyme nanoparticles from UV/vis spectra
Determination of size and concentration of Gold/Lys nanoparticles
- Followed method described by Wolfgang Heiss et al.
- Measured highest peak absorbance and divided by absorbance at 450 nm to get a ratio that can be compared to tabulated values. Then matched diameter with tabulated molar absorptivity value. Found concentration using the following equation:
- c=A450/ε450
- UV/Vis wavelength range: 400-800 nm
