Modelling for the iGEM 2010

Using Matlab

• In our first class of modelling with matlab, with an instructor of the previous Igem, I tried to understand the degradation mechanism of OmpR phosphorylated.
• I cant see, how can be the same function Y_t = Y_t-1 * (1 - α) and Y = Y₀*e^-α*t
• I got the feeling that is the same because the ln(1 + x) is like to ln(x).
