Protocol 1 Notes

2x Plates of k-12 E. Coli arrived from Carolina Biological. Plate 1 was intact and ready for use, but plate 2 had bacterial growth on the lid, corresponding with damage/medium contact.
Plate 2 was not used in MFC 1.
11.1g of LB agar was mixed with 300ml dH2O, prior to Autoclaving for ~3hrs.
13 [large] plates were poured, and 7 were streaked with E Coli from MFC stock plate 1.
Streaked plates are being allowed to grow from 4/24 to 4/26 at 25C.
