What I did today Ran a redo PCR on a strain of interest (large colonies), the PCR may indicate that the strain does not have the deleted gene of interest. Further testing of it and the small colony plate will be necessary to confirm the identity. Made Glycerol plate CHR4_8 and stored in the -80°C storage container Ran a cold shock experiment for Flask 4 of the current strain of interest. Samples were aliquoted and stored in the -80°C storage container
