Yesterday I had noticed that the Malachite green was not developing fully at 10 minutes, as the cytoskeleton information says it should. I decided I should probably make several measurements of the absorbance of the same sample over the course of several minutes to see when the color had fully developed.

I wanted to shake the samples every minute or so to prevent fall out in the solution. In doing this, I noticed that the absorbances would change by about 0.02 after each shake. I realized that this is because the cuvette holder in the nanodrop is not completely tight. The cuvette will stay where it is placed, but getting it in the same spot every time is a little difficult. So I will repeat the measurements later and see what I can see.
