Objective

  • Take 1 mL aliquots of lysozyme-AuNP and BSA-AuNP synthesized yesterday.
  • Synthesize lysozyme-AuNP with salt added before heating.
  • Centrifuge aliquots and remove supernatant.
  • Retest all treatments with samples of pure fibers.

Procedure

  1. Take 1 mL aliquots from all new AuNPs.
  • Lysozyme ratios were: 35:1, 55:1, 110:1
  • BSA ratios were: 100:1
  1. Centrifuge 55:1 and 110:1 ratios and remove supernatant.
  2. Add chelators and buffers to pure fiber samples.
