RAISE Max Update: the new social enterprise/makerspace is set to be called the "Research, Assessment and Innovation for Social Enterprise" lab, RAISE for short. They are blocking out $250 "Phase 0" grants for good ideas, so let's see if we can budget around that number. There is a "Social Enterprise Startup Weekend" on March 28th, the lab will be opening its doors on the 27th. I'm working on getting more info/$ as much as I can. For now, I think it'd be good to think of something we can display on that weekend- even just sexing up the gel box we made might be good. Also, the sooner we get a $250 project together, the sooner we can get money to do it.
