The Daily Grind

  • Got colonies for the alSD ligation to both pSB1A2 and pDSK, and for ACC Deaminase to pDSK. Didn't really see any for ligation to pSB1A2 and I don't know why. Will have to do functional test to see which clones are doing what they're supposed to...
  • Electroporation using the E. coli protocol worked for several endophytes! 1G8, 2D7, 1C12, 1G4 all got the plasmid. Gluconacetobacter diazotrophicus also appears to have recieved it. Woo! Will have to continue on and try the rest of the collection.
