The Daily Grind

  • Made new plate 3 with a lot of attention paid to making the plate complete. Used 1 mL of R2A with 1x cyclohexamide in it. Will grow them for 4 days (Friday), 96 well spec the plate, and dilute all to )D600 = 0.1 before making glycerol stock.
  • Had Jacqui make overnights of GFP endophytes, and electroporated the super slow growers today.
  • Sent Mixteco and Gaspe clone libraries for sequencing today, while Jacqui did PCR of Luxurians and Pioneer, and DdeI digested 4 others she's already done.
