Anderson Collection Plasmids Extractions ABSTRACT Liquid media growth of Anderson collection transformed bacteria. Today I begun helping Melissa. She is extracting the plasmids containing the Anderson collection promoters. Since we will characterize these promoters in Rhizobium etli we need a lot of plasmid. This will be the second time she attempts these extractions. Apparently half of them failed last time (July 21st). We took plated transformed bacteria with these plasmids from the iGEM distribution, and we dissolved them in liquid media. We will retrieve them tomorrow.
