Low-range acrylate concentration of MCR strain Got a decent number (will count tomorrow) of colonies on, and only on, the 5 μM plates. Since the wt MIC is 25 μM, we've got a 2-5 fold increase in acrylate toxicity in MCR strains. Conclusion: MCR increases acrylate toxicity, so selective pressure has been too high when I've transformed the ΔacsA::accBCDA in wt 7002 w/ MCR. ΔacsA::accBCDA in wt 7002 Cultures were qualitatively the same, resuspended both in 200 μL and plated 100 on each 500 μM and 5 mM acrylate plates.
