Curcumin: The Chuck Norris of DNA methyltransferase inhibitors by Etienne Robillard

Introduction

Curcuma longa (hence "curcumin") is a popular spice extract originating from India and used as a spicy additive in Indian gastronomy. DNA methyltransferase inhibition by curcumin is a strong promoter of prostate cancer-cells apoptosis.
