Tasklist

1. Prepare new 0.12 g/L Lysozyme Curve

  • between 20 μL-100 μL Lysozyme
  • Prepare new 0.12 g/L Lysozyme
    • Add 0.006 g Lys to 50 mL H2O
  • For 1 mL Solutions add:
    • 20 μL Lysozyme,
    • 200 μL Bradford Reagent (diluted 1:3)
    • 780 μL 50 mM Tris/ 50 mM NaCl buffer
      • Amount of Lysozyme added was increased in 20 μL increments and the amount of buffer decreased in 20 μL increments until the total amount of Lysozyme added totaled 100 μL
  • Ran UV-Vis between 400 nm- 800 nm

2. Potential Measurements of 42 μM Lysozyme (0.6 g/L) dialyzed against 5-45 mM CaCl2
