Please briefly describe any previous laboratory experience

For the past year, I’ve worked in Prof. Darrell Irvine’s lab at the Koch Institute. My project was to visualize the mechanisms of melanoma in vivo through the use of microneedles. We loaded these tiny microneedles with various drugs and particles and applied them to the ears of transgenic mice to induce melanoma. We’d then visualized the cellular changes around microneedle implantation sites using intravital microscopy.
