Absorbance Data

Image:Abs_data_AuNP_dilutions_0613.png
The diluted original AuNP solutions did not show absorbance spectra as expected, with the exception of the original solution(29.67nM). The samples will be remade at the same concentrations but diluted with PBS in the hopes of preventing the nanoparticles from aggregating.

Image:Abs_data_AuNP@SiO2_10x_diluted.png>br.> The silica-coated AuNPs did not show absorbance as expected. There should be a peak between 500 and 550nm, ~520nm.

These solutions appear to be too dilute.

Notes

  • Fluormeter computer still down; fluorescence measurements to be taken as soon as possible
