Objective

I was not in lab, because I was sick, but the group added plants to the solutions in order to test their absorbance. The plants' roots were very small, thus not absorbing much of any gold nanoparticle solution.

Data

50% solution of purple and red citrate gold nanoparticles were used for the plant absorption. There was an initial graph taken when the plants were first placed in the solution. However, the plants were left uncovered so the next day, the solution had evaporated leaving nothing to test whether or not the gold nanoparticle solution had been absorbed into the plant roots.
