June 15th, 2010 While looking the items we received from Edimburgh we found that some primers, those for luxCDE, reverse and forward, were supposedly for LuxCDE from Photorhabdus luminescence but actually the primers were designed for LuxCDE from Photobacterium phosphoreum. Then I made a PCR to get LuxAB from genomic DNA of Vibrio fischeri MJ11 following the next procedure: 5μL Buffer PCR 2.5μL MgCl2 2.5μL DNTPs 2.5μL Preffix 2.5μL Suffix 2μL Template DNA 1μL Taq Polymerase 32μL H2O
